Another holiday season is in the books! Maybe you hosted the annual holiday family gathering with parents, aunts, uncles and cousins traipsing through your house, or maybe you enjoyed a quiet evening with dear friends who accidentally spilled red wine all over your stone kitchen countertops. Now that the holiday parties are over, trees have been taken down and decorations are put away for next year, your home may be looking a little worse for the wear. Change your New Year’s Resolution to a New Year’s Restoration with Bizaillion Stone Floor Restoration.
Who are we?
The Bizaillion family has been in the stone surface restoration business for 45 years, and we are proud to serve the DFW area for more than 18 years, specializing in one thing – professional restoration of stone floors. We have just what you need to brighten up your home for the new year. From repairing cracks and holes to stain removal, cleaning, sealing and polishing, we can make your floors (and countertops) beautiful again.
Why Choose Restoration?
As most stone floors are considered a significant investment, restoration is usually a far better option than replacement. You will be delighted with the results of our state-of-the-art technology and commercial-grade equipment, allowing us to go beyond the surface of the stone. We also use a diamond abrasive pad to help remove or lighten deep stains (like red wine!) in your travertine, marble or terrazzo surface.
Can you restore other stone surfaces, such as countertops and vanities?
Absolutely! Our team works on these surfaces daily: indoor and outdoor, floors and counters, vanities and shower walls. We know the ins and outs of the materials, the equipment and the products that will give the best result and shine. If you have a question about whether we can clean a surface in your home, give us a call at 817-681-0866 and schedule a time for us to come out and take a look or visit us online to get a call back from one of our expert team members.
I’m on a budget. How much can I expect to pay for floor restoration?
At Bizaillion, we understand budget constraints, and that’s one of the best reasons to restore your floors rather than replace them. If you’ve turned over a (financial) new leaf for the new year, floor restoration can still fit within your budget. Start with a couple of rooms and have the other floors cleaned as your budget allows. We recommend starting with high-traffic/visibility areas, as those are the ones you see and enjoy the most. Don’t hesitate to schedule a time with us to get our recommendation on what’s best for your home. Where possible, resist the urge to clean your floors yourself. We use specialized technology and solutions that care for your flooring without causing damage. Here are some tips for cleaning your floors between restoration appointments.
What are some ways I can protect my stone floors after restoration?
We recommend a few easy steps to protect your floors between cleanings:
- Sweep your porch and walkways to minimize dirt, rock and debris being tracked in from outside.
- Use doormats at your front, back and garage door entrances that are often saturated with dirt and grease.
- Take your shoes off when you enter your home. Keep your outside shoes outside!
- Dust mop and sweep frequently. Dirt and grit on your floor are the number one cause of wear and tear to your floor’s shine. (Also, use traditional mops and brooms rather than Swiffer-type that tend to push dirt and grime into your floors.)
